Semester's examination

This semester's examination period is too short. We are using only two weeks to write eight papers. I know for sure that it is this strike action that has streamlined things in such manner.

God is asking you
Would you also prove Him wrong? God has done more than enough for us. The life and the strong health is by His grace. Do not always blame God for something you have asked but not received, but rather let Him know that He is the God of all. Praise His name and you will be relieved in due season.

Dash and look at what transpired during my previous semester

I became discouraged when i was admitted into a university to pursue a programme(publishing studies) i knew nothing of.
After enduring this course for the whole year, by His grace i am in first class.

I am looking forward to improving upon it, to get the best of first class.
what i want to tell my fellow students is that, in this world our desires would dump us into a pit of darkness with no possibility of turning back. With God on your side as the decision taker, you will always be the best.

Be moved towards your destiny

Life is full of obstacles, twist and turns, failures and success, joy and sorrows, happiness and sadness and the like. For God did not create us into this world to encounter problems we deem not to have happened in our life. For Bible says, let no one say when i am tempted, i am tempted by God. for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin when it is full grown, brings forth death.
Do not be deceived. For whatever a person sows is truly what he reaps.

But if you are willing to a accept change in your situation, ask Jesus to come and stay in your life and master faith by reading His word. Remember, He is a faithful God to restore you into your destiny.

Insincere fasting

Some people do fast a lot, but above all they do not see the divine intervention in their lives. There are certain things that they have neglected. Remember God is holy and must be worshipped in holiness. Some people went to a priest to inquire whether they should still continue with their fasting which is every fifth month in the year. The priest declared to them to Gods' wrath is upon you, for you do not render true judgements, love a sojourner, a widow, give to the poor. how can your deeds be heard.
If we continue to be in our sins then heaven will remain silent to our bootless cries.

Fresher's matriculation

There is matriculation for the just admitted students in our university. As usual, the university does this to usher its new students into the university. When you are admitted to the school, you are called a fresher until the matriculation. That is when you are formally recognised as a first year student. Thanks to God that i am now a continuing student.

our lecturers are on strike

Our lecturers have been on strike for the past three days now. We are finding it difficult to cope up since the academic exercises are overloaded.

A visit to a press

Yesterday 28th September, 2010 five of our course mates including me visited a press at Adum, Kumasi, Ghana. We were very excited to see how how the machine work. As part of the programme, we are always thought the theoretical part. It was an opportunity for me to see the process a publication goes through before reaching the hands of consumers. Guess what, do you me to tell, i know you are eager to learn this whole process, but i will summarize it for you.

The person who wants his work to be printed will be into contact wint an estimator who estimates the cost of the entire work including the quantity to be produced. If he/she agrees then the process begins. If the product is a full colour work, the designer has to designed it and do the colour separation. Later a film is developed for each colour.( cyan, yellow, magenta and black). The films are sent to a platemaking section where the image on every film is transfered onto a plate where it will be used for printing. several processes go in during the plate making and film making, this is just to be brief.
After the plate is prepared it is sent to the machine for the image on it to be transferred onto a paper. From printing of several papers, they are sent to the finishing section where folding,cutting, gluing, stapling, lamination are done. After all actions are done on the printed paper. It arranged very well ready to be delivered to the client.

The smartkids who have just completed their Junior High Level would be having their graduation this coming saturday 25th september, 2010. In attendance would be our dear Dr. Ross the national coordinator and some other smartkids. We would be expecting your wishes.

New programme opened at the northern sector.

Our department, publishing studies today 8th september, 2010 opened another branch at the northern sector. It was such an awesome occasion for the students. We were exposed to various dignitaries in the association. People usually undermine the state of affairs in the printing, publishing and packaging industries. All efforts to bring the image of the industry to success were disclosed. I am indeed proud to be a student at this department.

first week life at campus

As usual, the just ended vacations were very busy. After three months of stay at home, it is now time for us to face the challenge again. I am now part of the continuing students and I feel proud of that. Lectures for the first week were indeed boring. students will go to class only to find that, the lecturer is absent. We are praying that, this will not continue for long.

By His grace, i am faring well.Life in campus is also marvellous.If it was to be that, i heard it as a rumour, i would be in doubt.This is reality.We have celebrated our hall week and what transpired was a must to watch.Students dressing and attitude were the agendum for the day.Their mode of dressing was not decent at all..Be careful u are not trapped in this same incident.Remember whatever we do, we will surely account for it
